Bigger & Better!

We drove through 5 countries, in 5 days in vehicles with a value of less than £750 and ended up at the fabulous German town of Nürburg. Home to the infamous motor-racing track - the Nürburgring. We were camping along the way to reduce costs for everyone. This event was open to anyone (almost) - whether you were just two mates up for a laugh and could raise money for charity or a large company looking for a challenging and alternative team building event where everyone benefits. So please contact us with any questions you may have or go to the downloads page for more information.
We embarked on our adventure from Monday 5th May 2008 (Bank Holiday) to Friday 9th May 2008. We left from St. Barnabas hospice in Worthing, West Sussex at approx 09.00 hrs and headed to one of the ferry ports for a morning crossing to Europe and then on to our first overnight stay. Then each team was given the new daily destination in the morning and we all met at the rendezvous for that evenings festivities.
A deposit of £250 was required (based on 2 people in 1 car). This money covered your return ferry crossings for car and passengers, campsite fees, administration costs etc. We had set the very achievable fundraising target for each team at £2000. Although this may seem a large amount of money to raise we supplied each team with fundraising ideas, support and advice. Personal costs that were not included were such things as petrol, food and refreshments etc...
